From the steamy jungles of Peru to the remote mountains of Romania, Ian will go anywhere to find the world's most amazing artifacts. Some he sells in his shop back home, others he keeps for his own cherished collection.

His daredevil treks take him to all four corners of the earth—and he'll do whatever it takes to get there. Whether by small plane, hand-carved canoe, motorbike, horseback, or oxcart, each episode is a thrill-seeking adventure.

Invited into a village's "inner circle", Ian gets to witness cultural celebrations and secret ceremonies—many of which have never been filmed.

Ian Grant has a job most people would envy—he travels for a living. He does it by hunting for unusual artifacts overseas, then selling them to to retail shops and interior designers.

His business, Bjorling-Grant, has earned a reputation in the design world as one of the best sources for beautiful cultural objects from around the world.

Ian also works closely with artisans in developing countries to collect and create products that help support the local culture and are environmentally sustainable.

Ian lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Lisa, and son, Alex. He runs marathons, practices a variety of martial arts, scuba dives all over the world, and plays hockey and the violin, although not at the same time.
